I am Strong

During these festive season where everyone is busy getting ready either balik kampung or preparing the family get together and having a reunion dinner...

for me.. i have long lost this tradition. Not that i choose not to but some circumstances made it such.
I miss getting all worked out getting into the horrific jam just to balik kampung. :(
I haven't been back to my home town since (i dun rmmb when) Now that my dad has pass away... chances are even slimmer.

We are who we are today because of life experiences. Some people experience hardship more then others, they appreciate life and human kind more then others.

I remember when i was schooling, when i was standard 6.. I already started taking public transport to school. Nope not school bus.. but public bus! Then came college...and working life...all on public transport. Sometimes mayb 2 or 3 buses to get to the destination. But that experience is priceless.. that experience made me independent. Unlike wat i hear nowadays...kids are driven here there by their parents or some driver be it school/college or any activities out of school. Some parents even buy their kid a car so that they can drive to college. Oh wow!!! wonder how these kids will learn about hardship :p Do they even know how to take a public transport?

Talking about car. I got my 1st car...and still paying for it till now :D (one more year to go)
I got the car because the job that i was hired in required me to drive. And so it was a necessity.
There's a difference between a want and a need. The car for me at that time was a need, so therefore a necessity.

I'm getting very emo today... but i know all these experiences only makes me who i am

Oh...my DEAR

My dear car...the one that stayed wif me thru thick and thin (so the saying goes)

Few days ago 7 Oct (MON) when i was driving to Taipan club for class...my car coolant level went up to "H" "O""T". I was at the Summit traffic. It was quite a jam at that time. I didnt realise the indicator till it was almost at the traffic light. Dun know how long it had been HOT!!!
Gosh...lucky it didnt caught fire!!! otherwise....otherwise...

Once i saw dat HOT sign...i quickly turned off my air con...and switch off my engine to a complete stop. Dun care la if i cause any traffic congestion. Den the traffic light went green. I courageously started my engine and drove...as i was driving the level was ok....but once i come to a halt...at the traffic lights again...the level kept on rising and rising and rising....

Manage to get to Taipan for class....after class put on some water into the white semi-transparent bottle inside the front car bonnet (dun know wat's it called) and safely reached home (Thanks God)

Next morning had to drive my dear car to class again. Since it's morning, there were no traffic, so the coolant level didn't rise!!! Good for me...

Den later in de afternoon after class....sent my dear to fix. Found out dat...the tubes connecting the coolant to the engine was all clogged up wif rust. So changed the entire tube and wash something connected to the tube...i think it's de radiator fan (i know just so much of cars....haha)

So my dear is now ok. Still serving me well...

Sofa and bed and something more

I've been looking and windowing around some furniture shops....



Some branded, some factory outlets and some recomended by friends. Thanks you guys....

but still i cant make up my mind...it's the thing with cost and quality. i wan a good buy...but i dun wan to pay too much.

1. Celini's having a promotion of RM3899 for a set of L-shape sofa and a bed set (minus the mattress)


2. Miva's sofa (leather base with fabric cussion and pillow) is RM2988


3. Lorenzo have a full fabric sofa which is RM 1988 (discountinued fabric) the design of the sofa is nice but the colour very weird. "Hmmm" "so difficut wan"


4. some shop near section 16 PJ....fell in love with the L-shape sofa and the low "japanese" style bed. the sofa was RM3000 ++ and the bed was RM1700 ++. But the sales guy says still can consider discounting for me. Hmmm


5. Some shop in Sg. Buluh called Dynamic Furniture, one of my fren's realitive, yet to come back with the discount price for the sofa and bed set i choose.

So bottom line is i'm back to square one...dun know la....

So much in mind...den mum also fell ill since 2 weeks ago. Still coughing and all but getting better. Me praying she's be up and nagging me again. miss all those :P

stressed and all i ended up in this place....THIS IS WHERE IT ALL STARTED!!!!!

Dressing My HOME

I paid a deposit booking of RM500 with Kian Classic yesterday on their promo home package.

This is the deal :

1 set L-Shape Kitchen Cabinet Melamine finishing with laminate top - RM 5,000
(additional 1,200 for Acrylic top and RM 1,000 for Gloss Finishing)
1 set 8 ft x 8 ft built in wardrobe anti jump system - RM 2,000
2 set 6ft x 8 ft built in wardrobe anti jump system - RM 1,700/each

All this for the price of RM 10,400

This is the first time i made bookings without thinking 2wice!!!! WOW
Knowing me....i shop and shop and shop till i find the good deal in town. "HAHA"

Anyway, this RM 500 is definitely not returnable but, if i do not take the whole package it is still all rite. I have the option of choosing 1 item/2 item / 3 items /so on and so forth.
So this means if i find some other place that can offer me a better kitchen design and material i can opt for just one or two wardrobe. :)

BTW anyone any experience with Kian Classic or any other Kitchen Cabinet suppliers do let me know.

A Place call HOME

I have been really swamp….

2 months back in May, I was going all out in search for a landed property. This wasn’t something I tot of overnight; it’s something I tot of very often and for a considerably pretty long period of time…NATO for a year.

NATO because, buying a house is not like buying Nike or Addidas….It’s a lot of money involved….commitment and responsibly. It’s the next big thingy after marriage!!!!

The process was hectic…thanks to friends who stood by me and still standing and supporting me. This is for you:

So the process was tedious.
1st I started searching thru the Internet. For those of you who’s also looking for a house, these are the sites you can go to

From these sites, I listed out almost a HUNDRED houses. Made tons of calls. Viewed a hand full of houses. And viola found the house that almost 100% met my criteria. (There is no perfection in this world) Only heaven knows.
Couldn't have done it without u my fren!!! U know who u are….muaks!!!!

All this took almost a month or so….
Then it was the process of signing the offer letter, looking for the best loan offer, the Sales and Purchase Agreement….now the wait for the house keys
Again thank you my dearest fren for all the legal advices and guidance.

While waiting for the house keys which will take approximately 3 month…I’m now shopping for home furnishing. Looking for good cheap nice modern furnishing for my new home. Anyone any suggestions.
I’ve been to quite a number of furniture malls and oso online ….love the one’s in Red Apple in Puchong (only saw their catalog online) anyone any experience to share? Macy oso looks good. So is Lorenzo – 2 + 3 seat top leather sofa for RM2998? What do u guys think,worth buying? Harvey Norman Headboard@RM629.

What a Girl Wants

I had a short chat with a guy fren yesterday and he was hilariously promoting his fren to me.

I used the word hilarious because he non stop talks extreme good about his fren. This is not the first time he has been promoting his fren to me. No not for a job in true fitness....He is promoting his fren to me as a life partner!!!

He quotes:
Look...he has got his own business now, he owns a few cars, he is able to take care of you and most important of all he loves you so much...wat more are you waiting for.
It's better to be loved then to love? As for the feelings...if you dun have them now you can nature it. At least you give it a try. No harm wat?

Oh...please
If there's no feelings no sparks no attraction for the person...no need to try. No need to waste anyone's time. No need to break unnecessary hearts.
Yes i agree, being loved is far more better den to Love, but...Love should be unconditional...love should be mutual. Not lopsided...

And money is not everything!!!
Yes...i agree totally that every girl wants someone who can take care of them both physically and financially but money isn't all. Well at least i say for myself i am not for those material stuffs. But he must and have to take care of the essentials at least.

Love is strange. It's just strange. Someone craze over you but you dun have the feelings for him. Instead you like someone but he doesn't reciprocate. Then there are those you like and he may also like you...but you wouldn't know coz no one wants to take the chance of humilation of being rejected.

Indeed an Angel

Yesterday, after much ding donging and contemplating with my Ipod...i decided to send it to apple for a check up. My Ipod had been in the last 2 month hasn't been able to switch on proper. I had to re set the Ipod every time i turn it on.

So i decided...i better get it to the service centre before the warranty is over. Expired 27 Oct 2008

Went to the Machine in Pyramid...was attended to by a nice chap. He explained in quite detail on the possible reasons why my Ipod is acting the way it is acting. Well u know me la...when it comes to gadgets and stuffs like this, I'm ground ZERO!!!

So he suggested i reset my Ipod. That means reinstall all those songs in my Ipod out into a hard disk and then reload it back again. then he went, do you have back ups for your songs?

Me with my pitiful face went...aa...no..wo...how...ar

He went on...Do you use a mac or windows...and i went windows, so i cant copy my songs out from my Ipod rite?

He went... rite, only mac can do dat...U know what, i can help you but not here in the shop I'm not allowed, but i have a mac at home, I'll help you back it up then you use it for a while and see if the problem persist or not. If the problem persist I'll sent it to the service centre and if it's not...you can renew the warranty for another year.

BodyVive training over, I now have an addition program in my sleeves to battle apart from my BodyCombat and RPM.

All these were so back dated...gosh what have i been doing lately...so no time to think also. 2 more weeks and then it's the new release launch. I cant wait for that to happen but ironically nervous at the same time. Yes if U are trying to gather why i am nervous, it's because I'm only human, i cant say for other instructors but me, i work extremely well with those nerves on stage...put me on the edge and I'll focus all my energy in delivering a good class thus . If all goes well this will be my second time doing BC launches. Wo...Hoo...

So much for gym, always perform and do 100% on stage and more...Yes never go wrong.

I think it applies to whateva you are doing also. With that statement it got me thinking, have i given my 100% in whateva i do? Have u? ...and what impact had you made to others in your life?

I had a casual talk with a fren couple of weeks back, and we were in this topic of, what have you and haven't you achieve in your life so far, moreover we both just celebrated our birthday. So it hit us quite impact full and got me back down memory lane.

.......as teenager i was very quiet...very very, so i guess didn't make any impact then. Go to school diligently, participated in school curriculum diligently. Not to say i wasn't active, i was but i was just not that "Popular Gal" in school lor...just that plain Jane.

......then my people skills became better as I grew up in my early adult hood. In college I was a different gal altogether...i was more fun to be with yet i was still diligently studying. Did i made an impact to others, i may not know but i would say that was my turning point in life from a mediocre plain Jane to a more confident me.

Our lifes are not just one straight road. At times we would be up at that hill top enjoying the most beautiful view and at times we just want to dig a hole and hide. And the turning point in life happens more then once and it happen only if you make it happen. So ya...fight for what you LOVE. for if you do, 80% of the battle is already won.

I think I'm at this turning point again.... and i will fight!!!

Gangster Theme Class

Yesterday was a tiring long day...but alls good...alls productive.

Started off wif my usual class at TF Jaya 33 RPM class at 7.15am...

Quite strange...my regulars didnot turn up???? Where hav all my regulars gone too...Prob puasa mth. 5 mins after 7.15am Nic and one more member walked in... So we started class...Yeh!!!

De rest of de afternoon i had to send my car to de doctor. Day before, my car couldnt start...no ignition sound what so eva... And it was Sunday!!! Called my mechanic called some of my frens but no 1 could come...no mechanics we working on SUNDAY...gosh!!!

Lucky was wif my mom and we just got our self fueled up. So we decided we walk and find a workshop dat opens...

With Gods grace we met a workshop. Alas de workshop is really not a workshop but specialises in air-con. Anyway de uncle at de workshop was so nice...he drove us to my car and checked on it. Like mention earlier he was not de expert...so he couldnt fix my poor car.

Den he said dun worry....i'll call my bro in law he's a mechanic by profession, he'll know wat to do.

So my car died on me around 1.30pm .... uncle and his bro in law came to rescue and my car came back to life around 3.30pm.

So what's wrong wif my dear car....my alarm had gone insane (short circuited) cut de starter power to prevent theft from stealing my car. Duh!!! i'm de owner!!! cant start my own car?? So poor thing meh.

Anyway dat's why got to go back to de place where i got my alarm, got them to pull dat wire out and fix it.

So dat was day before yday. (got side track abit)

So after sending car for check up wif doctor, visited my ex company Gardenia...practiced for de Gangster theme class...did de gangster theme class...and lastly BC tuition at 10pm.

When everything was over...i was already all drained...nothing left in my body. That was around 11.30pm...den some of us went home, while some of us went makan.

Body Combat Training

Bringing back fond memories.

Yesterday i was at Body Combat Master Class 9.00am at Taipan True Fitness. Looking at the "now' trainees, brings back fond memories of me as a trainee in May 2007.

Some were excited, some were feeling a bit sick/nervous, some were too eager to start, some were COOL about it. Well what can i say, mix feeling in the room.

I on the other hand, was busy taking pictures...will upload them on my next blog. This one below was me in my BC training May 2007 in SPK Fitness First

It was an awesome class. Ben Tang (seated fourth row from left) still looking as stunning as we first knew him. Within the 1 hour master class i can say...I learnt a lot from him.

Learning is a life long process. Dun stop learning because U have already achieved it. That is such a wrong attitude. Never stop learning....never stop asking....never stop dreaming....because dreams do come true. It did for me!!!

Also to share, I read this in an advertisement couple of days ago...and i believe it will stay with me from then on...With a little modification, it becomes my inspiration to move forward in life, everyday. Enjoy!!

Raine Thoughts

To think i need to write.

Many many thoughts running through my mind right now. Nothing coming clear...everything seems blurry. We all have our share of worries and our share of doubts. This is my my time.

Time to ponder-time to wonder-time to get away from everything else and think...and think hard!!! "Lorraine concentrate!!" Oh well...i am out of this world today. Something just dun seems rite from my point of view. It just isn't all bed of roses. Life is complicated...no no re phase...Humans are complicated souls

We think to much...so much so we dun act spontaneously. We like to wait and c firsf la!! That includes me. I'm trying to change, i need someone to tell me dat it's ok to fail. It's ok to take the challenge in your own hands and take the 1st step. After all if we never try we never know. Hor?

I use this phase ever so often in my RPM class to push my participants to motivate my participants to finish the race. So...in reality, life IS a race too...why cant i practice what i preach!!
Why why why...why so many whys???

Whateva is in my mind now, no 1 knows unless i spell them out for you. Same goes to everyone. Nobody knows what you are thinking or what you want to do unless you tell.
So...to wait or to tell huh? Of course to tell la...So what are you waiting for...

Hmm...i remembered the above verse back in my uni days. Back then i will do as per, but now? I will need to ponder a little more than 1 minute before taking any actions. Be it career, family matters or relationship matters. Coz...to me it's not trail run anymore. Age does matter here if you ask me. I am no longer in my teens where i can test test water, so on and so forth. If i want a relationship. It has to be for real, genuine and will eventually lead me to the Commitment stage. No more play play wor "Can relate?"

Some people say you never try you never know. But I personally dont like to go thru all those ordeal of breakup and what not. Better be real...lll..ly sure.

God has somehow answered my prayers...I was so so uncertain last week...now i know.

Whether it's doing a class with 2 people or 20 people Body Combat is jz my cup of tea. I love coffee actually by btw...lol. Ironic

Body Combat is addictive!! It is!! I started joining True Fitness June 2006. Got hooked to Body Combat since then. My passion for the program brought me to where i am today. Awesome release of power and energy burst is what keeps me coming back for more. And more...and more. Not to mention those adrenaline you get...WOW.

Wait..wait...wait a minute...there's more to life then jz Body Combat, Body Combat, Body Combat and Body Combat... Frens we need them to entertain our lives. Ai..say "entertain" comes both ways, you "entertain" them, they"entertain" you...life will be full of laughter and cheers. U think? Of course there are those sharing and caring times where you need a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear. If you want a listening ear go to a girl fren. If you want a shoulder, find a guy fren, their shoulders are broader and nicer "wink'"wink"

My Life in the month of JUNE 08

Wow...it must be a long wait...

Text in purple was drafted few weeks back...not fine tuned yet that's why wasn't able to blog.

I'm now in a new environment, new colleague, new desk, new computer...new jOB. 2nd week into my job here is awsome. Got along and adjusted to the new and flexi work time pretty fast.

I now kickstart my day as early as 5.30am to prepare myself for de 7am morning class. The feel and the vibe of the members in de morning and evenin are so different. Morning gym go'es are very serious bout their workout. Dun get me wrong, evening members are too, just different needs, different wants..thus different objectives.

The best part of this job is the big exposure and contact you inquire from calling instructors up for replacement. The list of instructors...wow is very long

Howeva long it is the list of instructors...these instructors are all very da bz...bz...bz...bz..

It's pretty hard and a big challenge for me as a new GXC coz i'm not familiar wif the free time of these instructors. Lucky for me i hav Su-Yee to call and Jack Jack to call for assistance.

So JUNE was a turn in my life...

After the bad accident in May...JUNE is really a rewarding month for me

NO 1 : I fullfilled one of my goals for dis year which is to do BC launch...and it came true!!!!

New BC 36 is awesome awesome awesome......................................

Simple moves...but endurance is intense.

NO 2 : Just got news from Su-Yee that I got certified in BC!!! Wo..Hoo!!

Yet another goal achieved

....yes it's only 2 goal and i'm like on top of the world. Very easy satisfied wan I..Ha HA
