2nd week into Body Combat 35…and I’m still loving it.
Body Combat 35 overall review:-
On an overall, the focus for BC 35 is music and performance. "Fun" is da magic word.
1st week was all about getting your body accustom to the new moves and choreograph
So last week…the class and I went through some new moves that they introduced in BC 35. One of the highlights was a move called “clinch” For this move one really must hav de wildest imagination.
Step 1 – imagine some1 you hate
Step 2 – grab them on their neck
Step 3 – turn them from your right to your left
Step 4 – enemy should feel dizzy now. So now give them 4 knees to their ribs
Step 5 – ensure they dun get the chance to get up give them 3 elbow
Step 6 – still not quite done yet…turn them to the right again and repeat step 4 and 5
Step 7 – do step 1 to step 6 for 4 reps!!
I know you just cant picture it. U gotta join de class to feel the power within..
So WIFM…What’s in it for me “Clinch” works a lot on the side abdominal/ oblique. Gets to release tension built up.
the 2 week is to bring on the power onto those moves you’ve learn in week 1
So this week me and my class moved on to what we normally call it in fitness term “marathon” Non Stop from track 1 to track 10. This really brings the heart rate to the max…and what I love most when heart rate is at your max…fat starts to burn…Yeh!!! Bye bye fat
and the 3rd week is to give it all. Correct technique, power driven and showmanship…
Yes another killer I must say for BC release 35 is the chest push up in track 9. Now I know, when some ppl tell me that when they really push themselves when doin push up, can really cry.
1st week on track 9…I finished my single push up all on my toes. Yes Yes…I did it but I was crying while doin it. Probably not noticeable coz I was also sweating all over during track 9.
The magic word is CHALLENGE…
Challenge means you push your self to where you normally couldn go. But if you are in a class and everyone is so motivating, everyone is into the challenge…I tell you it works wonders.
I thought I count do it when I was practicing for the track..but alas…
I’m proud to say I did it!!!
Now…no one is exceptional here…I believe if u put your mind and soul into anything that u do…everything is POSSIBLE.
