Abs Exercise - Intro

One of my colleague came to me today..
She was asking how can she lose the tummy area aka abs

So I told her it’s not so easy as just doing sit ups. The most important thing she/we must learn is that being healthy is all about eating right and exercising (if you want it in simple terms that is).

Eating 3 large meals a day is actually not very healthy. Because we consume a lot of calories at once and don't burn them all up... They then get stored as fat. It is best to eat approximately 6 times a day, each time small portions.

Sample time schedule:

8 a.m.: breakfast
11 a.m.: snack
1 p.m.: lunch
4 p.m.: snack
6 p.m.: dinner
8 p.m.: snack

It is also very important to exercise regularly. Recommend 3-4 times a week for most people. If you are an instructor you are expected to do more. This is so because you need those extra stamina to carry out a class. Furthermore you are the members role model ma..
However said and done, it is generally good to let your body rest and heal your muscles so you gain strength and shape.

By eating healthy and working out regularly 90% of what you need to do to get the body you want is already done... it really is that simple, just most people seem to have hard times sticking to it because everyone's life can get really busy at times.

Determination is a powerful tool that aids us in achieving the results that we want.
